RZ X , AT THE FORMULA SAE ITALY 2010
Ashwa Racing took part at Formula ATA Italy at the Riccardo Paletti race track at Varano de'Melegari, Italy which took place from September 03 - 06, 2010. We were lucky to be helped with a workplace by Mr. Francesco Cazzaniga, a close friend of Mr. Gian Paolo Dallara, the founder of Dallara Automobilie.
Formula ATA Italy, was overall a successful and satisfying event.
We were among the very few teams who cleared the Technical Inspection, which set us up perfectly to do well in the Dynamic Events.In the Acceleration event was the first event with drivers Mayur and Utsav in two separate heats clocking 5.3 and 4.7 seconds respectively.In the Autocross event, Drivers Ashwin and Navdeep Singh in two separate heats clocked 50 and 56 secs per lap. The best was from a German team clocking 47 secs per lap.
In the Static Events, we had great success. In the Cost Event we achieved an overall 7th.In the Business Presentation, our ideas and were appriciated by the judges. Among the judges present were Marketing Heads from Maserati and Schaeffler Group
